The Essentials of Transformation Management courses explores the 8 phases of the Transformation Management Framework (TMF), guiding you from the problem statement to a deployed solution at project close-out. 

We offer two versions of this course:

1. Essentials of Business Transformation Management for the private sector 
2. Essentials of Government Transformation Management tailored for government.  

The latter is fully compliant with the Government of Canada and Treasury Board of Canada’s latest policy and directive on the management of investments, programs, and projects (2019).  Our Framework and certification are accepted and applied in several GC Departments.  

In this live, instructor-led course delivered via Microsoft Teams, students complete nine 90-minute lessons to master the end-to-end transformation lifecycle. Participants will learn how to: 

1. Propose opportunities using a Concept Case.
2. Plan and conduct a comprehensive business diagnosis.
3. Define and recommend solutions.
4. Secure project funding and approval through a Business Case.
5. Implement solutions using the four standard PMI phases of project management (project initiation, planning, execution, close-out) 
6. Manage people's natural resistance to change, applying proven change management tools & techniques

Upon attending all lessons and successfully completing the exam, students will be awarded the Certified Business Transformation Manager (CBTM®) or Certified Government Transformation Manager (CGTM®) designation.

The Essentials for Enterprise Agility serves as the perfect complement to our Essentials of Transformation Management course. This course goes beyond Agile methodologies, equipping project team members with best-of-breed practices for developing solutions through the collaborative efforts of self-organizing teams. The ultimate goal is to consistently deliver value in a timely manner while ensuring alignment with the Transformation Management Framework.

Delivered online with a live instructor, the course consists of 5 lessons, each lasting 90 minutes.

Students who attend all lessons and successfully pass the exam will earn the Certified Enterprise Agility Practitioner® (CEAP) designation, which pairs well with the Certified Transformation Manager credential.

The cost is $1,989 plus HST,  including exam and certification (CGAP) as well as one-on-one coaching throughout the course duration.
